Collectors Club of NSW Inc was formed one cold and wet June evening in 1978. The first meeting was attended by 8 founding members. Our first President was Jenny Child (nee Young now living in the UK). Our club doll and logo are both named after Jenny. Our club's 20th birthday was celebrated throughout 1998 by several activities and the creation of a cloth doll, a birthday gift for members. The 30th anniversary was celebrated in 2008 with members receiving a commemorative name badge.

Over the past 30 years the club has held numerous functions including The Annual Doll Fair, Displays featuring tableaux created by members with their dolls, etc, a Museum for a Day, A Doll Expo, Doll Spectacular at the Women's Weekly Needlework, Art & Craft. The Betty Viazim Handcraft Competition is held annually at the club in March. Also various displays for the Quilt Fair & Stitches & Craft at Darling Harbour and Rosehill.

The Doll Collectors Club currently has nearly 400 members. Each year members are encouraged to nominate a charity for whom the club will raise money during the ensuring year. Members attending the Annual General Meeting in September then vote for the charity that the club will support. Over the years the club has raised well over a quarter of a million dollars for charities.

Each year in November a charity is chosen by members to donate to for the following year.

Printing is full colour. Classified ads $5 for members and $10 for non-members (maximum 3 lines or part thereof).
Payment on invoice.

Advertising material must be received by the first of the month prior to publication or will be held over for the next magazine. Images should not be embedded in word docs or Power Point & Publisher files, always send images and text separately.
